Job Type:

1 Year Contract
Part-Time: 3 days/week
Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM


Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing assessment and recommendations to members regarding illness or injury, including initial determination of occupational versus non-occupational injury.

  • Document and maintain records in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) standards.

  • Interact with Workers' Compensation, Safety, and the Company Physician to process work-related illnesses or injuries.

  • Participate in Health and Safety programs.

  • Perform regulatory-required medical surveillance as per current OSHA standards.

  • Respond to medical emergencies.

  • Provide follow-up nursing care for members.


Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS in Occupational Health.

  • Experience: 3-5 years in an occupational health setting.

  • Certifications:

    • Current BLS Certification.

    • COHN-S (Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist) preferred.

    • CCM (Certified Case Manager) is a plus.

  • Language Skills: Spanish fluency is preferred.

  • Additional: Valid California Driver's License.
