Job Description

Role Summary:

Responsible for auditing and ensuring high-quality standards in medical coding operations while collaborating with teams to identify and resolve quality gaps.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in client calls to align on process and quality goals

  • Formulate and implement quality achievement methods in consultation with managers

  • Conduct high-efficiency inspections and identify coding errors

  • Deliver structured daily feedback (in-person and email) on identified issues

  • Ensure timely correction of errors by coding staff

  • Mentor employees to improve quality and reduce error rates

  • Share feedback with training teams to enhance modules

  • Conduct testing and familiarization for new client files

  • Generate and maintain daily QA performance reports

  • Meet or exceed all quality and productivity benchmarks (SLA, inspection scores, calibration, etc.)

  • Record identified errors for organizational reference and compliance

  • Adhere strictly to company policies and regulatory requirements


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 years of professional and relevant experience in healthcare coding quality control

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle and coding standards

  • Strong audit, coaching, and training background

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
