Core Purpose of the Role

The QC Analyst (Executive – Quality Control Biologics) is responsible for conducting in-process and finished product analysis, stability sample testing, and calibration of QC instruments. The role ensures adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Analysis

  • Perform in-process and finished product analysis in shift operations.
  • Conduct stability sample analysis as per regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure error-free analysis and documentation in compliance with quality standards.

Instrument Calibration & Compliance

  • Maintain QC instruments/equipment in a calibrated state.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Ensure storage chambers are maintained at the required temperature and take timely action in case of deviations.

Operational Efficiency & Audit Readiness

  • Ensure seamless shift operations in coordination with the team leader.
  • Take proactive steps to rectify breakdowns and resume instrument functionality within the shortest possible time.
  • Maintain audit readiness at all times and address CAPA action items from previous audits.
  • Support additional activities assigned by the team lead.

Role Accountabilities

  • Timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Error-free analytical processes.
  • Seamless coordination with the team to ensure efficient shift operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of biologics manufacturing and testing compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Understanding of biochemistry principles.
  • Ability to work assertively yet collaboratively on task completion.
  • Personal integrity, positive attitude, and problem-solving mindset.

Education & Experience

  • Qualification: B.Sc. or M.Sc. (Chemistry/Biochemistry).
  • Experience: 1-3 years in Quality Control/Analytical testing.
