Role Summary

The Product Owner provides data-driven insights to guide product decisions, working closely with developers, designers, and testers. They shape product features and roadmaps by conducting market and customer research, gathering business and technical requirements, and monitoring product performance to ensure the product meets customer needs and drives business growth.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to drive feature development and product improvements.

  • Support the development of customer journey maps and product innovation roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with digital product managers, developers, and designers to implement product enhancements based on business requirements.

  • Facilitate and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Develop reports and documents to communicate findings and analysis to product teams and business stakeholders.

  • Assist the digital product manager in defining the product roadmap and prioritizing features.

  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria for the product backlog.

  • Identify and implement innovative practices to maximize the value of existing technology and methodologies.

  • Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Knowledge of customer journey management, digital product management, and Agile methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of product delivery.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly articulate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Highly collaborative with experience working on an Agile team.


Minimum Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the life sciences or health sector.

  • Experience in a product organization.

  • Business analysis or product analysis experience with a proven record of delivering business requirements for successful technology implementation.

  • Experience with market and customer research techniques.

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, Azure, or similar.


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.

  • Certification in product management, data analytics, or customer experience.
