Compensation

  • Hourly Pay: $56.50 - $67.75 (Estimated)

Key Responsibilities

To successfully perform as a Retail Pharmacist, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Dispensing medications accurately in compliance with regulations.
  • Preparing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Presenting information and responding to questions effectively in various settings (managers, clients, or the public).
  • Applying advanced mathematical concepts to practical problems.
  • Solving practical issues and interpreting diverse instructions (written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled).
  • Utilizing hospital software systems and order-processing programs.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current and valid Missouri State Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Education: B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of clinical experience and/or relevant training.

Skills Required

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Read and interpret technical materials, journals, and regulations.
    • Write reports and manuals.
    • Present information effectively in professional settings.
  • Mathematical Competence:

    • Knowledge of probability, statistical inference, and geometry.
    • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Reasoning Ability:

    • Solve real-world problems with minimal standardization.
    • Interpret multi-format instructions.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in internet tools and hospital software.
    • Quick adaptation to order-processing systems.
