Patent Search Senior Analyst – Hybrid (Noida)
Job Summary:
Clarivate is hiring a Patent Search Senior Analyst to join its IP Search Team in Noida. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work with Fortune 100 clients and support various stages of the intellectual property (IP) life cycle including prior-art searching, Freedom-to-Operate (FTO), and patent analytics. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in patent databases, IP research methodologies, and technical analysis within the life sciences, biotechnology, or related domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct prior-art, patentability, FTO, invalidity, and patent analytics searches.
Analyze patents and non-patent literature from technical and legal perspectives.
Evaluate technical disclosures and distinguish them from prior art.
Develop and implement comprehensive search strategies ensuring high-quality, relevant results.
Deliver detailed, well-reviewed search reports that meet client expectations.
Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, patent laws, and search tools.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and client KPIs.
Meet deadlines and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IP services and patent searching.
Intermediate knowledge of US, European, and global patent laws.
Expertise in patent and non-patent literature databases.
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
Preferred:
Master’s/Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
Advanced Excel skills including data handling and charting.
