Role Overview
The Modular Content Specialist will manage modular content workflows within Veeva, ensuring digital assets are accurately classified, compliant, and governed. This role involves deconstructing core brand assets into reusable components, applying metadata and taxonomy, maintaining claims compliance, and supporting cross-functional adoption of modular content practices.

Key Responsibilities

Modular Content Management

  • Identify and select core brand assets for modularization.

  • Deconstruct assets and extract reusable components for upload into the Veeva component library.

  • Apply metadata fields, taxonomy, and classifications within Veeva.

  • Tag key messages to enable proper selection in Veeva picklists.

  • Verify the accuracy of classifications and metadata in Veeva.

Claims & Compliance

  • Ensure claims are traceable and linked to reference sources.

  • Confirm all claims are linked to modular components.

  • Conduct compliance checks to ensure approval and completeness of claims in Veeva.

Asset Review & Governance

  • Conduct final validation of approved assets in Veeva Digital Asset Management (DAM).

Training & Documentation

  • Develop SOPs, guidelines, and training materials for modular content workflows.

  • Provide guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders to enable smooth adoption.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • 6–7 years of experience in content management, digital asset management, or modular content workflows.

  • Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environments.

  • Proficiency in Veeva Vault or similar content management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of compliance requirements in regulated industries.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Must-Have Skills

  • Experience developing and managing modular content in pharmaceutical or healthcare contexts.

  • Knowledge of MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) processes, metadata, taxonomy, and digital asset governance.

  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct stakeholder workshops.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in global pharmaceutical content management initiatives.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, multi-channel content distribution, and analytics for content optimization.
