Job Overview
The LIMS Analytical Definition Assistant plays a critical role in supporting laboratory operations by establishing and maintaining analytical definitions within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The role involves reviewing protocol and specification documents, configuring system templates, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate and timely analytical testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review analytical methods, protocols, specifications, and stability documents to establish analytical definitions.

  • Create and maintain analytical templates within Laboratory Information Management Systems based on technical documentation and work aids.

  • Support analytical testing teams to ensure efficient and high-quality testing operations for biopharmaceutical and medical device projects.

  • Collaborate with laboratory technical teams and project managers to determine appropriate template configurations.

  • Ensure accurate data management and system configuration to support testing workflows and regulatory compliance.

  • Assist in maintaining documentation standards and quality processes within laboratory operations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent directly relevant qualification.

  • 1–2 years of directly related industry experience in pharmaceutical, laboratory, or life sciences environments.

  • Exposure to laboratory information systems, analytical testing processes, or laboratory operations is preferred.
