Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Writer - Manager who can translate complex scientific and clinical concepts into clear, engaging, and creative communication. The ideal candidate will drive medical content strategy and collaborate with creative teams to develop high-impact campaigns for global clients, including Fortune 50 companies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop medically accurate, clear, and engaging content for diverse audiences.

  • Write for multiple formats: press materials, consumer campaigns, digital assets, educational tools, etc.

  • Translate complex scientific data into simplified, relatable language for non-specialist audiences (patients, caregivers, media).

  • Align all content with brand and regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate closely with account, strategy, and creative teams to produce on-brand, compliant, and high-quality deliverables.

  • Revise and refine content based on internal, client, and MLR (Medical Legal Regulatory) feedback.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 11+ years in healthcare communication agencies (AMA experience preferred).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Portfolio: Must include diverse medical writing samples (e.g., sales aids, websites, social media, direct mail) for varied audiences (HCPs, patients, consumers).

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Proficiency in the AMA Style Guide (certification not mandatory).

    • Strong referencing, annotation, and MLR submission experience.

    • Ability to understand complex healthcare data and translate it effectively.

    • Excellent communication, writing, and conceptual thinking skills.

    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    • Passion for working with diverse global teams and projects.
