Position Summary

The Medical Writer II (Funding e-Request) is responsible for managing and maintaining external funding databases, performing quality control checks on Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) requests, and developing other key project documents. The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office tools.


Experience Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update client databases, learning platforms, and web-based applications

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of project-related data

  • Provide input into project plan development and status reporting

  • Track resources and update project status regularly

  • Ensure team alignment with client requirements and project goals

  • Create and update Work Instructions per request management systems

  • Support project delivery by managing workload efficiently and meeting milestones

  • Identify risks to project delivery and suggest resolutions proactively

  • Review all deliverables for accuracy and quality before client submission

  • Support team members and report project updates to the team lead

  • Communicate effectively with clients and build strong professional relationships

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences from a reputed institute

  • Domain Knowledge: Background in pharmaceutical/healthcare sector

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong command of MS Office applications

    • Excellent written and verbal communication

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Ability to work both independently and in team settings

    • Enthusiastic, proactive, and quality-focused
