Position Summary

The Medical Writer II (Funding e-Request) role is responsible for maintaining external funding databases, performing QC checks on Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) requests, and developing other high-quality documents and deliverables. The position requires exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.


Experience Required

  • 3–4 years of experience in healthcare or life sciences domain (excluding PV case processing).


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update client databases, learning platforms, and web-based applications for accuracy and consistency.

  • Perform QC checks on IIS requests and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

  • Track and manage request management systems and resource tracking sheets.

  • Provide input for project plan development and progress tracking.

  • Create and update work instructions as per request management systems.

  • Manage workload efficiently to meet agreed timelines and milestones.

  • Regularly report project status to team leads and support project management activities.

  • Identify and escalate potential risks to project delivery with proactive resolution planning.

  • Review all deliverables for accuracy and consistency before client submission.

  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate commitment, diligence, and proactive engagement in assigned tasks.


Candidate Profile

  • Education: Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences disciplines from reputed institutions.

  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of pharmaceutical or healthcare operations, enabling transition into other service lines post-project completion.


Core Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Commitment to high-quality deliverables.
