Position Overview

The Medical Writer II (Funding e-Request) is responsible for maintaining and tracking request management systems, performing quality checks on Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) requests, and managing the External Funding Database.
The role requires excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, as well as strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Experience Required

3–4 years of experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain (excluding PV Case Processing).

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update client databases, learning platforms, and other web-based applications for consistency.
Conduct data analysis with creativity and attention to accuracy.
Create and maintain resource tracking sheets and provide regular project status updates.
Contribute to project plan development and ensure all deliverables meet client requirements.
Prepare and update work instructions as per the request management system.
Perform QC checks on IIS requests and process them on assigned platforms.
Manage workload efficiently to ensure delivery within agreed milestones.
Support team members in the execution of their project responsibilities.
Regularly update the Team Lead on project progress and potential risks.
Identify risks related to project delivery and propose corrective actions.
Review all deliverables for accuracy and consistency prior to client submission.
Build and maintain positive relationships with client teams.
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Clearly articulate Syneos Health’s vision, mission, and core values.

Candidate Profile

Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Life Sciences from a recognized institute.
Background in the pharmaceutical/healthcare domain (with potential for redeployment across service lines after project completion).

Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
