Job Summary
The Medical Writer II (Funding e-Request) is responsible for tracking request management systems, maintaining external funding databases, performing quality control (QC) checks on IIS requests, and processing them within defined platforms. The role requires strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office tools.
Experience Required
3–4 years of experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, clean, and update various client databases, learning platforms, and web-based applications for consistency.
Create, update, and manage resource tracking sheets and project status reports regularly.
Support the development of project plans and ensure alignment with client requirements.
Ensure team members understand project goals and deliverables.
Draft, update, and maintain work instructions as per the request management system.
Manage personal workload efficiently to meet agreed milestones.
Support team members in executing project responsibilities and ensure timely delivery.
Proactively identify risks to project delivery and report with mitigation plans.
Conduct thorough QC checks and review deliverables for accuracy and consistency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Demonstrate initiative, diligence, and commitment to project quality.
Clearly articulate project value to clients and represent Syneos Health’s vision and core values.
Support the team lead with regular project updates and resource coordination.
Candidate Profile
Education: Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Life Sciences (preferably from a top-tier institute).
Domain Knowledge: Strong background in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors (enabling transition into related service lines post-project).

Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database tools
Experience with data tracking and document management systems
