Role Overview

As a Medical Writer 1, you will play a pivotal role in supporting early-phase clinical trials (Phases I-IIa), focusing on safety and pharmacokinetics. This position is ideal for those passionate about clinical research and scientific writing, offering the opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

Document Development

  • Learn to create clinical trial documents, including Protocols and Clinical Study Reports (CSRs).
  • Critically review and interpret clinical data, particularly pharmacokinetics and safety.
  • Condense complex data into clear, concise language for clinical documents.

Project Management

  • Oversee the document development cycle, from initiation to final deliverable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project milestones.
  • Facilitate discussions, drive consensus, and streamline document inputs.

Client Interaction

  • Manage expectations and address feedback from pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
  • Confidently lead client meetings and ensure alignment with sponsor goals.

Who You Are

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, life sciences, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Preferred: Medical writing experience in CRO, Pharma, or Biotech.
  • Alternative: Strong scientific writing and data analysis experience from completing a PhD or working in a fast-paced research lab.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail, data analysis capabilities, and proactive communication.
  • Ability to manage regulatory documents and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging with experts in medical and statistical fields.
