Medical Transcription Editor (QC)

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Can be a graduate in any stream.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Control (QC) in medical transcription.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent listening and typing skills.

    • Ability to edit transcribed reports to achieve up to 98.5% quality.

    • Ability to deliver quality output in line with medical transcription and QC process parameters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Edit and review transcribed medical reports to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in all transcriptions according to process guidelines.

  • Monitor and correct transcriptions for grammar, medical terminology, and overall quality.

  • Work with transcriptionists and the quality control team to improve overall quality and efficiency.

  • Shift: Day shift (specific hours may vary based on organization).

  • Training: May be provided based on the organization’s requirements.

Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the QC role in medical transcription.

  • Strong listening and typing skills with the ability to deliver high-quality edits.

  • Proficient in medical terminology and transcription guidelines.
