About the Role:

As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be at the forefront of Patient Safety, engaging daily with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and patients. This is a key position within IQVIA’s Safety Operations team, providing medical information services and managing safety and product quality data across multiple therapeutic areas, including:

  • Respiratory

  • Infectious Diseases

  • Immunology & Inflammation

  • HIV

  • Oncology

You’ll be part of the world’s largest safety department, with access to continuous training, professional development, and a clear career progression path.


Key Responsibilities:

  • 📞 Provide phone support to HCPs and patients for medical inquiries, adverse events (AEs), and product quality complaints.

  • 📧 Receive and document incoming communications (calls, emails, faxes) from various sources, including investigative sites.

  • 🔄 Track and process safety and product quality information in compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

  • 🤝 Maintain effective communication with the local management team on project metrics, challenges, and achievements.

  • 🌍 Foster a collaborative team environment across global safety hubs (Ireland, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, India, USA).

  • 📈 Participate in training programs and contribute to process improvements and new initiatives.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare (mandatory)

🗣️ Languages:

  • German (minimum C1 level)

  • English (minimum C1 level)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
