Job Description

As a Medical Information Specialist at EVERSANA, you will be part of a critical customer-facing function, providing scientifically balanced, evidence-based, and non-promotional medical information in response to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. Additionally, you will support post-marketing activities such as adverse event reporting and product quality issue handling. This position requires clinical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Inquiries: Respond to medical information inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, healthcare professionals, patients, and payers.
  • Research & Writing: Utilize medical information skills to research and critically evaluate medical literature, creating accurate, timely responses to inquiries. Write adverse event and product complaint narratives, medical inquiry responses, and case documentation.
  • Case Management: Handle requests through multiple channels, including phone, email, CRM, and chat. Identify adverse events and product complaints, ensuring proper intake and documentation in compliance with client and EVERSANA-MICC procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to address product quality complaints.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, therapeutic areas, and client-specific requirements. Ensure all documentation meets high standards of quality and complies with regulatory requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Pharm.D, Master of Science (MSc), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or any Life Sciences degree.
  • Skills: Strong documentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a solid clinical background.
  • Language Proficiency: Must speak, read, and write in English fluently.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis of medical literature.
  • Strong communication skills for both verbal and written interactions with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Knowledge of FDA’s post-marketing adverse event reporting regulations and safety terminology.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle complex data and requests.
