Role Overview

The Medical Business Associate is a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional responsible for engaging healthcare professionals across Delhi and the NCR region. The role focuses on building long-term professional relationships, delivering accurate and science-based product information, and executing strategic territory plans to enhance patient access and healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare stakeholders across the assigned territory.

  • Develop and implement a territory business plan based on customer insights and local market needs.

  • Communicate clear, compliant, and evidence-based scientific information to support healthcare decision-making.

  • Accurately record field activities, customer interactions, and sales outcomes using company CRM systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and improve patient access.

  • Monitor clinical updates, competitor activities, and market trends within Delhi NCR.

  • Continuously upgrade product knowledge and therapeutic area expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution (Mandatory).

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in customer-facing field sales, pharmaceutical sales, medical representative, or territory management roles.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Delhi NCR.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and commonly spoken local languages.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Legal authorization to work in India.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.

  • Ability to confidently discuss clinical data and scientific concepts with healthcare professionals.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to analyze customer insights and basic sales data to prioritize territory activities.

  • Fluency in Hindi and other local languages used across Delhi NCR.

  • High motivation, adaptability, and growth mindset.
