Medical Contact Center Associate II (French Speaker)

1. Summary of Responsibilities

Medical Information & Communication

  • Respond to medical information queries in French (telephone, email, fax).

  • Handle product quality complaints and general inquiries.

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls professionally and accurately.

Pharmacovigilance & Safety Reporting

  • Receive, document, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) within regulatory timelines as per SOPs/WIs.

  • Execute drug safety data management tasks:

    • Call intake

    • Call dialogue documentation

    • Peer review

    • Case follow-up

Operational Support & Quality

  • Track metrics, maintain logs, and perform ongoing QC checks.

  • Reconcile data from multiple sources.

  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all processed data.

  • Support assigned tasks as per management instructions.

Training & Documentation

  • Create and revise training materials based on system/procedure/regulation updates.

  • Conduct trainings and evaluate training effectiveness.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.

  • Maintain high standards of compliance, quality, and communication.


2. Minimum Qualifications

Education + Experience Requirements

One of the following:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences
    2–3 years safety experience

  • BS/BA
    2–3 years safety experience

  • MA/MS/PharmD
    1–2 years safety experience

  • Associate Degree
    4–5 years relevant experience OR 2+ years safety experience

  • Non-degree
    5–6 years relevant experience OR 2+ years safety experience

Fortrea may consider equivalent relevant experience in place of formal education.

Safety Experience Includes:

  • Processing AE/SAE reports

  • Generating narratives

  • Handling queries

  • Working in safety databases

  • Experience with regulatory submissions

Relevant Experience Includes:

  • Pharmaceutical / Biotech / CRO industry experience in:

    • Medical Affairs

    • Clinical Data Entry / CDM

    • Clinical Monitoring

    • Regulatory Affairs

    • Quality Assurance


3. Additional Qualifications

Language Requirements

  • Fluent French (written & spoken) — preferably C-level proficiency

  • Fluent English (written & spoken)

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize medical information

  • Good understanding of:

    • Regulatory requirements

    • Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP)

    • ICH GCP guidelines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • High accuracy & attention to detail

  • Team player with ability to work independently

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in call center operations
