Job Purpose:
As a Medicaid Enrollment Process Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling member enrollment records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with enrollment guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review member records including eligibility dates, plans, and primary care provider information

  • Reconcile enrollment data with the 834 file and update system records accordingly

  • Enroll or reinstate members as required

  • Audit and update Third Party Liability (TPL) records

  • Adhere to HIPAA and team-specific policies and standards

  • Communicate with staff and insured individuals to obtain or verify enrollment information

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of Medicaid and/or Commercial enrollment processing experience

    • Facets experience preferred

  • Technical Skills & Competencies:

    • Ability to work independently and remotely

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

    • Keyboard typing speed of at least 35 WPM + 10-key

    • Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT-4, ICD-9/10, HCPCS, ASA, and UB92 billing codes

    • Experience navigating multiple systems with dual monitors

    • Effective communication and analytical skills

    • Adaptable to a high-performance and frequently changing environment


Compensation:

  • Salary: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

  • Other Compensation: Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards
