Job Overview

Novo Nordisk India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager – Cardio Metabolic to join its high-performing commercial marketing team in Bengaluru. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic brand initiatives, drive market development, and contribute to transformative partnerships within the cardio-metabolic and diabetes care portfolio of a leading global pharmaceutical organization.

The position plays a critical role in shaping local portfolio marketing strategies, executing impactful campaigns, and supporting sustainable business growth aligned with Novo Nordisk’s commitment to improving patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of local portfolio marketing strategies in collaboration with senior marketing leadership

  • Act as brand champion to drive internal alignment, enthusiasm, and execution excellence

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to develop targeted marketing and promotional strategies

  • Translate complex market data into clear, actionable communication for internal and external stakeholders

  • Design and implement innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns to support sales objectives

  • Develop annual and cyclical brand plans aligned with short- and long-term business goals

  • Lead new product launches in accordance with local strategies and regional approvals

  • Collaborate with external agencies to deliver brand initiatives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to ethical standards, company policies, and the Novo Nordisk Way of Management


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Management (MBA) from a reputed institution

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales

  • Demonstrated experience in cardio-metabolic, diabetes, or related therapeutic areas is preferred


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking with excellent planning, execution, and follow-up capabilities

  • Proven ability to analyze market insights and convert them into impactful brand strategies

  • Experience in consumer and digital marketing, including digital activation and multi-channel engagement

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and healthcare stakeholders

  • Creative, innovative mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence

  • Experience in client-facing or customer-facing roles is an added advantage
