Position Overview

The Manufacturing Lead is responsible for operating equipment to assemble, inspect, test, and package products, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires leadership on the production floor, mentoring team members, coordinating resources, and resolving issues to meet production targets.

📌 Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development

Lead daily production floor operations by managing team assignments, resources, and escalations.

Mentor and coach team members on process flow, technical skills, and teamwork.

Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.

Production & Quality Management

Ensure adherence to SOPs, documentation, and quality principles (GMP/GDP, ISO standards).

Oversee production flow, resolve bottlenecks, and address aging/on-hold materials.

Review and verify production records for accuracy and completeness.

Provide hands-on technical support for operating and troubleshooting equipment (sealers, bonders, test instruments).

Use precision measuring tools to confirm product conformity to tolerances.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Serve as the primary liaison with QC, Planning, Kitting, and other teams to resolve material shortages, quality issues, and scheduling conflicts.

Manage Work-in-Process (WIP) to maintain efficient production flow.

Systems & Reporting

Perform system transactions, data entry, and reporting to maintain accurate production records.

Communicate production information effectively via written reports, email, and instant messaging.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.

2+ years of experience in material handling or manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of quality standards (GMP/GDP, ISO).

Experience with TrackWise.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills for data entry, reporting, and communication.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 Pay Range: $25.00 – $47.00 per hour

Final offer based on experience, education, skills, and location.
