Job Overview:

The Manager, Clinical Data Management is responsible for overseeing the processing, review, and organization of clinical data for multiple therapeutic groups and external investigators. This role ensures that accurate, timely, and consistent clinical data is delivered to internal teams. The Manager will lead clinical data management efforts, guide operational teams, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, data integrity, and operational excellence. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to resource forecasting, project management, and the improvement of clinical data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and co-lead clinical data management projects, providing guidance to operational teams and ensuring projects meet timelines and deliverables.
  • Clinical Data Management: Serve as Clinical Data Scientist and Trial Lead for clinical trials, managing all Data Monitoring and Management (DMM) activities.
  • Collaboration: Work with research/business units and external service providers to ensure high-quality data management across all studies.
  • Data Monitoring: Perform central monitoring activities, propose improvements, and follow up on action resolutions.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the application of standards and proactive data review to maintain data integrity across all clinical trials.
  • Communication: Develop and execute communication plans to engage customer populations and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support in the use of data visualization, reporting tools, and technology systems.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or health information management role.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trials, clinical research, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) GCP.
  • Strong project and risk management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with Windows applications and relevant software tools.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and vendor oversight.
  • Proficient in using clinical data management systems and/or EDC products.
