Role Overview
The Clinical Operations Manager (FSP 360) will lead a home-based team in India, ensuring operational excellence, high-quality delivery, and compliance across clinical functions. The role focuses on customer delivery, business impact, and people leadership, acting as a Syneos Health ambassador for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Delivery & Success
Build strong, collaborative relationships with customer points of contact (PoCs)
Ensure team compliance with KPIs, SOPs, and ICH-GCP standards
Manage headcount planning, job requisitions, and resource allocation
Oversee system updates, documentation, and adherence to quality standards
Conduct oversight visits for Clinical Research Associates, as required
Business Impact
Share knowledge and best practices across the FSP 360 operating model
Make data-driven decisions to enhance team performance and operational efficiency
Support revenue targets by ensuring the right balance of skills and resources
Represent Syneos Health at professional meetings and seminars
People Leadership
Manage team members’ performance, training, and professional development
Ensure compliance with HR processes, timecards, and expense reporting
Promote staff engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture
Model inclusive behaviors and proactively address bias in decision-making
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Clinical Research, or related field
6–8 years of experience in clinical operations, functional service provider (FSP) models, or clinical project management
Proven experience in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and performance management
Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a remote/home-based setup
