About the Role

As a Korean Language Quality Specialist, you will collaborate with the Language Quality Specialist Manager and Head of Quality and Compliance to monitor and enhance the translation quality of our global supplier pool. Your efforts will help maintain exceptional linguistic standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multilingual projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate Quality Feedback Reports and Improvement Plans for selected resources in coordination with Project Managers, internal linguists, external reviewers, and talent managers.

  • Analyze language quality issues and develop global/local improvement strategies.

  • Support Talent Managers and Project Managers in anticipating and resolving quality challenges.

  • Identify and flag resources for promotion or demotion based on quality metrics.

  • Conduct regular analysis of resource and language quality performance.

  • Monitor edit distance metrics per language and enhance language output quality.

  • Drive the global language quality strategy and implement tools to assess outsourced translation quality.

  • Collaborate with the Terminology Coordinator to ensure language assets are regularly updated.

  • Contribute to the Quality Management System through SOP creation and improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in developing best practices and continuous improvements for Language Quality processes.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Language Quality Specialist handling multilingual projects.

  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills in cross-cultural settings.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to dynamic work environments.

  • High level of commitment, motivation, and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation Studies or equivalent professional experience.

  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).

  • Deep understanding of Multilingual Quality Monitoring and related tools.

  • Proven skills in analysis, organization, and time management.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent use of keyboard and repetitive finger movements.

  • Regular use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring clear speech perception.

  • Extended periods of sitting.
