Role Overview

The Healthcare Research & Data Analyst (Oncology) will contribute therapeutic expertise and advanced market research analytics to generate high-quality syndicated insights for global pharmaceutical clients.

This role requires strong knowledge of oncology drug development, regulatory frameworks, commercialization pathways, and competitive market dynamics. The analyst will translate clinical and commercial data into strategic insights that support decision-making across product lifecycle stages.

Key Responsibilities

Oncology Market Intelligence & Insight Generation

  • Develop a strong understanding of oncology disease areas, treatment paradigms, and competitive landscapes.

  • Analyze clinical trial data, pipeline intelligence, commercial sales data, and primary market research findings to evaluate market trends and opportunities.

  • Build market forecasts and assess competitive dynamics across global oncology segments.

Primary & Secondary Research Execution

  • Conduct interviews and surveys with oncologists, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.

  • Perform structured secondary research using clinical databases, regulatory sources, and commercial datasets.

  • Synthesize large volumes of data into actionable, evidence-based insights.

Content Development & Client Communication

  • Author high-quality syndicated research reports independently or collaboratively, adhering to product specifications and timelines.

  • Present oncology insights via executive-ready slide decks, written reports, and live presentations.

  • Address client inquiries with strong understanding of clinical, regulatory, and commercial oncology dynamics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Engage with internal teams including Commercial, Epidemiology, and Support Services.

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across geographies.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field (Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Management, Biotechnology, or equivalent discipline).

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in biopharma, healthcare consulting, life sciences analytics, or pharmaceutical market research.

  • Experience working with global stakeholders or international projects preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of oncology therapeutic areas, clinical drug development, regulatory pathways, and commercialization strategies is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical ability to interpret clinical and commercial oncology data.

  • Experience handling large, multi-source datasets including clinical trials, pipeline intelligence, and real-world evidence.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to convert data insights into compelling commercial narratives.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Proven problem-solving ability and sound decision-making aligned with business objectives.

  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
