Summary
The Healthcare Research and Data Analyst will join the Biopharma Insights team at Clarivate’s LifeScience and Healthcare Products business group. The team supports pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, financial services, and managed care companies by providing strategic market research, analytics, and competitive intelligence. This role involves primary and secondary research, data analysis, writing, and project execution to generate actionable insights for clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Management
3–4 years of experience in biopharma, healthcare, market research, or financial sector
Experience with biosimilars preferred
In-depth knowledge of at least one therapeutic area
Experience analyzing and interpreting complex datasets
Experience working with global stakeholders preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English
Preferred / Desirable
Advanced degree (PhD in Pharmacy or Life Sciences)
Flexible and collaborative approach to work
Ability to interact and build relationships with co-workers
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
Conduct primary and secondary market research to support business insights
Critically analyze complex clinical and commercial datasets to evaluate market trends and commercial opportunities
Build market forecasts based on data analysis
Translate domain expertise and research findings into actionable insights for clients
Market Research & Surveys
Design primary market research surveys, including questionnaires
Conduct surveys with medical and healthcare experts to gather insights
Writing & Communication
Translate research data into clear, concise reports and insights for clients
Communicate findings effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Project Management & Execution
Manage project timelines and deliverables
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality outputs
Support other team members in achieving research and analysis goals
About the Team
The Biopharma Insights team provides analytics and market intelligence to help clients make informed decisions regarding new drug development and management of marketed products. Analysts design, research, author, and present market research studies across multiple indications, supporting strategic planning, market development, technology management, and competitive intelligence.
