Job Summary:

Integrated Resources, Inc. (IRI) is seeking a Healthcare Analyst for a full-time, on-site role in Birmingham, AL. This position involves analyzing healthcare data related to claims, utilization, and care management to develop utilization strategies that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. The role demands proficiency in SQL, Tableau, SAS, and data visualization tools, along with strong analytical and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze healthcare data related to networks, claims, utilization, pre-certifications, and care management activities.

  • Support Health Management initiatives through detailed analytical designs, data gathering, and result interpretation.

  • Create and publish periodic and ad-hoc reports to support corporate and client needs.

  • Design and implement reports that meet employer groups, providers, executives, and internal stakeholder requirements.

  • Present complex healthcare data in clear, actionable formats.

  • Apply critical thinking to solve analytical problems independently.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant business experience in healthcare analytics.

  • Strong expertise with SQL (mandatory), MS Access, Crystal Reports, Excel, Advantage Suite, Tableau.

  • Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools like SAS and Crystal Reports.

  • Understanding of database analysis, data integrity, primary keys, indexing.

  • Knowledge of healthcare measurement research, statistics, technical writing.

  • Experience in reporting and interpreting healthcare utilization and quality data.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
