Position Summary

The Global HEOR Value Writing Senior Associate supports Amgen’s global market access strategy by developing high-quality, evidence-based Health Technology Assessment (HTA) deliverables. Working closely with the team lead and Global HEOR Product Leads, this role ensures strategic alignment across therapeutic areas. The position involves developing Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), US AMCP dossiers, EU JCA dossiers, HTA briefing books, and scientific publications designed to effectively communicate product value to HTA and payer audiences.


Key Responsibilities

1. Content Development & Writing

  • Develop and update GVDs, US AMCP dossiers, EU JCA dossiers, and early HTA briefing books across multiple therapeutic areas.

  • Create scientifically accurate and compelling content using clinical, economic, and real-world evidence tailored to HTA/payer requirements.

  • Contribute to HEOR publications including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.

2. Quality, Compliance & Training

  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, publication standards, and HTA requirements.

  • Participate in peer review and quality control (QC) of written materials.

  • Contribute to the development of training materials and onboarding documentation for HEOR writers.

3. Knowledge Management & Collaboration

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HTA trends, payer evidence needs, and value demonstration practices.

  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and collaborate effectively across global teams.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics, Medicine, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • 3+ years (Master’s) or 5+ years (Bachelor’s) of relevant experience in HEOR, medical, or regulatory writing within pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting settings.

  • Proven experience in developing value dossiers (GVDs/AMCP) and supporting HTA submissions.

  • Strong ability to synthesize clinical, economic, and real-world evidence into payer-focused content.

  • Familiarity with systematic literature review and evidence synthesis methods.


Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional English writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and reference management software (e.g., EndNote).

  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

  • Good understanding of HTA processes, payer evidence requirements, and global reimbursement landscapes.

  • Knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP) and publication submission workflows.

  • Innovative approach, including leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.
