Objective:
To lead the ideation, selection, and development of innovative and differentiated pharmaceutical products for India and emerging markets, ensuring their successful introduction and compliance with regulatory standards.
Product Selection and Planning:
Develop technical diligence processes, set objectives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely product delivery while adhering to regulatory standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Facilitate discussions across Pre-Apex, Apex, and Post-Apex stages to finalize Medical and Marketing Target Product Profiles (TPP).
Product Ideation and Development:
Evaluate and provide technical insights for 25–30 product concepts annually and ensure the initiation of 45–50 new product developments for India and emerging markets.
Technical Diligence:
Assess business development assets and support organizational priorities, including harmonization, global manufacturing standards, and oncology portfolio development.
Expert Guidance:
Apply expertise in formulation design, consumer insights, and regulatory requirements to deliver high-value, consumer-centric products with improved gross margins.
Regulatory Support:
Draft technical justifications for Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) responses to regulatory agencies.
External Collaborations:
Manage partnerships with academic institutions and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for early Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
Knowledge Sharing:
Mentor team members and build formulation capabilities to enhance organizational technical expertise.
Educational Background:
M.Pharma, M.Tech, or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Experience:
6–8 years in formulation development, regulatory compliance, and product development.
