Job Description:
The Oncology Account Specialist will be a key member of EVERSANA/Accord BioPharma's new sales team, focused on launching a new product in the prostate cancer therapeutic category. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, including urology and oncology specialists. The Oncology Account Specialist will gather critical information about targeted accounts, present product information and clinical data, and deliver compelling selling messages. This position requires a high level of urgency to ensure the successful execution of the product launch plan within the assigned region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete advanced product training, gaining in-depth knowledge of disease states, product features, benefits, and core selling messages.
  • Develop expertise in clinical selling and the delivery of core product messaging.
  • Take ownership of sales results, ensuring the achievement of sales goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with targeted healthcare providers and key accounts.
  • Prioritize accounts within a large geographical area to drive sales success.
  • Manage customer requests with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement to team leadership.
  • Adhere to all company, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Expectations of the Job:

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or healthcare industry, preferably in specialty pharmaceuticals.
  • Specialized Experience: Experience in Urology and/or Oncology is essential, with recent Buy-and-Bill sales experience (including reimbursement/distribution) preferred.
  • Technology/Tools: Proficiency in Outlook, Salesforce Automation, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product launches.
  • Previous experience with injectable specialty products.
  • Experience in a start-up environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proven track record of success in account management and market access.

Compensation and Benefits:
EVERSANA offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401K with employer matching. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $170,000, depending on experience and location.
