Job Description:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will play a key role within EVERSANA’s Field-Based Medicine (FBM) team, focusing on anti-arrhythmia treatments for acute episodes of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) and atrial fibrillation (AFib), as well as other episodic cardiovascular conditions. This position requires the MSL to engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to provide scientific expertise, foster collaborative relationships, and contribute to the development of strategic decisions within the therapeutic area.

The MSL will function as the primary scientific resource in the field, gathering insights from KOLs, supporting internal teams, and assisting with the launch and ongoing promotion of the company’s products. Additionally, the MSL will have responsibilities related to attending scientific congresses, providing internal and external training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary field-based contact for Medical Deployment, reporting to the Senior Director of Medical Excellence and Field-Based Medicine.
  • Provide scientific support and training to other MSLs and internal teams.
  • Develop and track KOL engagement plans to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the cardiovascular space.
  • Conduct scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs to address disease state topics, clinical data, and company products.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of regional healthcare systems, clinical practices, and treatment protocols.
  • Support the development of scientific materials and training programs for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the coordination and support of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) and External Collaborative Research (ECR).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, medical, and clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery of scientific support.
  • Contribute to the preparation, planning, and execution of scientific congresses, including attending sessions, managing booths, and engaging with KOLs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate SOPs and legal/regulatory guidelines during all interactions and activities.
  • Willingness to contribute to organizational goals beyond the geographic territory.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Education: Advanced science or clinical degree (PharmD, M.D., DO, Ph.D.) or a Master’s degree in health sciences (MS, MSN, MPH, MHA) with relevant clinical or therapeutic experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical or therapeutic experience with an advanced degree or 3+ years with a Master’s degree in a related field.
    • 4+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), preferably with experience in cardiovascular diseases.
    • Knowledge of regional healthcare systems and clinical practices.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific data clearly.
    • Comfort and confidence in engaging with senior-level stakeholders, including KOLs and HCPs.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using field-based communication tools and systems.
    • High ethical standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
    • Ability to adapt quickly and provide innovative solutions in dynamic situations.

Travel:
