About the Opportunity

The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time cardiothoracic anesthesiologist to join the team in both the Cardiothoracic OR and CTICU at Duke University Medical Center.

Position Requirements

  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Fellowship training in critical care and cardiothoracic anesthesiology
  • Board certification in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography
  • A strong commitment to teaching and research in clinical, translational, or basic sciences

Both the Cardiothoracic ORs and the CTICU are located in the Duke Medicine Pavilion, a state-of-the-art surgical tower featuring 160 critical care rooms, 16 operating rooms, hybrid rooms, and an imaging suite equipped with iMRI and iCT technologies.
