About the Position

The Duke Department of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position within the Division of Hematologic Malignancies & Cellular Therapy (HMCT). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in laboratory-based research, demonstrating independence or progress towards independent research, evidenced by publications or successful grant applications.

Position Requirements

  • Must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Established research accomplishments in laboratory-based work, either independently or in a mentored environment
  • Evidence of increasing independence in research, including publications or successful grant applications

Research and Clinical Opportunities

This position offers the opportunity to work within the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI), an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, with access to a multidisciplinary team of over 300 clinicians and researchers. The DCI includes eight research programs spanning basic, clinical, and translational research. Candidates will also engage in patient care activities within the Division of Hematologic Malignancies & Cellular Therapy, a team of more than thirty physicians.
