Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring a Director of Health Informatics to lead EHR integration and digital asset optimization efforts for key pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts. This field-based role is ideal for candidates with deep understanding of clinical workflows, EHR systems like Epic or Athena, and experience in driving health tech adoption across provider organizations. You will collaborate cross-functionally to streamline digital processes that directly impact population health and treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage Corporate Accounts' EHR capabilities to enhance diagnosis and care delivery
Conduct workflow assessments and recommend improvements for clinical operations
Lead integration of digital assets into EHR systems (educational materials, screening tools, etc.)
Guide clients in adopting digital tools and optimizing EHR functionalities
Serve as liaison between health systems and internal stakeholders on digital process needs
Identify barriers to EHR adoption and implement strategies for resolution
Communicate digital integration opportunities to leadership and field teams
Lead or support multiple health IT projects across customer networks
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (required); certifications like RHIA/RHIT or HIMSS preferred
Minimum 3 years in healthcare/pharma industry
Minimum 3 years in direct patient care environment (e.g., hospitals or clinics)
Front-end experience with top EHR systems (Epic, Athena, Oracle, etc.)
Strong understanding of clinical workflows, patient journey, and health IT ecosystems
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Travel readiness for field engagement
Strategic mindset with project management experience (a plus)
High emotional intelligence and collaboration skills
Salary & Compensation:
Annual base salary: $177,000 – $240,000
Additional incentives: Bonus eligibility, car allowance (as applicable)
