Dietitian Nutritionist (Temporary Full-Time)

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Position Type: Full-Time Temporary (April - August, with potential for permanent role)
Salary: $47,300 to $71,390

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a full-time temporary Registered Dietitian to join The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The hospital is a 555-bed, not-for-profit acute care facility, recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's top hospitals in several specialties. This temporary position will run from April until August and may become a permanent role. Additionally, there is also an opportunity for a permanent per-diem role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nutritional care to various inpatient units.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assess clinical nutrition processes.
Educate healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other staff members.
Precept dietetic interns and support their professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
- Master's degree with required coursework and supervised practice as per ACEND standards.
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to January 1, 2024, a Bachelor's degree with the same requirements is acceptable.
Credentials:
- Must meet eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Must have state certification/licensure, as required by Ohio.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and the ability to work independently.
- Collaborative team player who can work well with healthcare professionals.
