Job Purpose

The DC Operations role involves coordinating shipments, preparing relevant shipment documents, packing, and maintaining shipment trackers to ensure efficient and compliant shipment processes.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Shipment Coordination:

    • Prepare all necessary documentation for IUT shipments (Internal Use Transfer).
    • Ensure that shipment compounds are checked and documented appropriately.
  2. Document Preparation:

    • Create and verify documents such as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), COA (Certificate of Analysis), and SRF (Shipping Request Forms).
    • Coordinate the preparation of required export shipment documents such as TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) and MSDS.
  3. Packing Operations:

    • Manage primary and secondary packing of compounds.
    • Ensure all documents related to the packing and shipment are prepared and reviewed.
  4. Shipment Tracker Maintenance:

    • Keep track of shipments and ensure proper documentation is provided to the logistics team.
    • Ensure that final signed shipment documents are submitted to the logistics team.
  5. Collaboration with Technical Team:

    • Collect the final compounds and signed documents from the respective technical teams.
    • Facilitate the packing process once all documents are in place.

Educational Qualifications

  • B.Sc (or equivalent)

Technical/Functional Skills

  1. Basic knowledge of chemical and solvent hazards.
  2. Proficient in documentation and communication.
  3. Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  4. Hands-on experience with Outbound logistics, Inbound logistics, SEZ documentation, and US-related documentation.
  5. Solid understanding of purchasing and warehouse operations.

Experience

  • 0-3 years in logistics, shipment coordination, or a related field.

  3. Effective communication skills with an ability to present ideas and documentation clearly.
