Job Overview
Medpace is expanding its clinical research operations in India and is currently seeking a Data Coordinator to join its Clinical Data Management team in Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a long-term career in clinical data management within a global Contract Research Organization (CRO).
The Data Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining data quality, accuracy, and compliance across clinical trials by supporting electronic data capture (EDC) systems and database cleaning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Track, monitor, and maintain data status metrics within Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems
Perform clinical database cleaning, including generating, reviewing, and resolving data queries and clarifications
Reconcile clinical data to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems
Support day-to-day operational activities for the Data Management department
Assist in ensuring data readiness for reviews, audits, and database lock
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related discipline
Experience:
1–2 years of clinical data management experience preferred
Exposure to clinical research environments or CRO settings is an advantage
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Familiarity with clinical databases, with Medidata RAVE preferred
Domain Knowledge:
Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical research processes
Core Competencies:
High attention to detail
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a structured, process-driven environment
