Job Summary

Pfizer is seeking a seasoned Country Brand Manager – Rare Disease to lead the strategic lifecycle, marketing execution, and stakeholder engagement for its rare disease portfolio in India. Based in Mumbai, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive brand growth, new product launches, and scientific partnerships in rare and specialized therapies including endocrinology, hematology, and bleeding disorders. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Lead lifecycle management of existing and new products with strategic growth plans.

  • Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for rare disease brands.

  • Drive brand plans through multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Utilize analytics for trend assessment, strategy deployment, and risk mitigation.

  • Manage brand financials including revenues, budgets, and profitability.

  • Identify key stakeholders and develop partnerships to boost business.

New Product Launch:

  • Identify and propose business opportunities aligned with market trends.

  • Prepare launch strategies addressing therapy area gaps.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally for successful launches.

  • Build stakeholder capability with outcome-driven strategies.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute brand strategies with stakeholder SLAs.

  • Design and implement marketing campaigns and sales training.

  • Liaise with external agencies to develop impactful brand initiatives.

  • Monitor brand performance and initiate corrective actions.

  • Optimize marketing budget for ROI.

  • Provide sales teams with insights to support business goals.

  • Build scientific relationships with KOLs and institutions.

  • Conduct field visits to gather insights and drive implementation.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Pfizer policies and industry regulations.

  • Collaborate on content validation with Medical & Marketing teams.

  • Perform risk assessments and define mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure regulatory adherence in all brand campaigns.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA in Marketing

  • 5+ years’ experience in Brand/Product Management in pharma, preferably in Rare Diseases, Endocrinology, or Hematology

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian pharmaceutical market dynamics

  • Experience with government stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Proven success in launching and managing specialized innovative therapies

  • Strong project planning and matrix collaboration skills

  • Ethical and compliant marketing practices

  • Expertise in multi-channel marketing & stakeholder engagement
