Client Relationship Manager – Healthcare (Hybrid, Texas)

Job Summary:
Cognizant is hiring a seasoned Client Relationship Manager to lead client engagement and business operations in the healthcare payer domain. This hybrid role, based in Richardson/Dallas, Texas, requires strong experience in healthcare IT services, stakeholder management, P&L ownership, and a proven ability to drive growth across client portfolios. Ideal for professionals with 15+ years of healthcare consulting or account leadership experience, this is an opportunity to shape healthcare transformation at scale.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

  • Understand healthcare client environments and co-create customized digital solutions.

  • Lead renewals, extensions, and proactive business development (including RFPs).

  • Drive backlog growth, project delivery, and service excellence across engagements.

  • Track healthcare and payer industry trends to proactively support client needs.

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact and day-to-day account leader.

  • Lead onsite teams and ensure alignment with client goals and operational delivery.

  • Manage account forecasting, profitability, and resource optimization.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in client-facing/account leadership roles in IT consulting or services.

  • Proven expertise in healthcare payer operations, claims, and service center environments.

  • Experience influencing senior client executives and decision-makers.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare technology and transformation strategy.

  • Track record in sales growth, client retention, and complex program management.

  • Proficiency in global delivery models and multicultural team leadership.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • P&L and forecasting experience in large healthcare consulting engagements.
