Simpson Healthcare is a well-established scientific agency and trusted partner to clients in the life sciences industry for over 20 years. We are seeking a Client Service Director to join our expanding team within IQVIA, supporting both new and ongoing client relationships.

The Client Service Director plays a key role in optimizing client relationships, overseeing project execution, managing accounts, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

  • Lead overall management of assigned projects, ensuring coordination of digital and interactive content.

  • Collaborate with content experts to validate scientific accuracy and achieve project goals within timelines.

  • Prepare and deliver impactful client presentations aligned with strategic objectives.

  • Oversee long-term planning of accounts, including timelines, quality assurance, SOP creation, and budget monitoring.

  • Ensure project adherence to client strategies and brand messaging.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Conduct and contribute to internal meetings and client update discussions.

  • Ensure adherence to internal SOPs (PIT Crew, Basecamp, CCR, Good to Go, etc.).

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client products and therapeutic areas.

  • Support client pitches, proposals, and presentation development.

  • Manage faculty recruitment, engagement, and relationships on behalf of clients.

2. Client Relations & Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure expectations are consistently met.

  • Organize and lead client update meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up summaries.

  • Synthesize and translate client feedback for project team implementation.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Scientific Services, Interactive/Graphics, and Marketing teams.

  • Track and report project milestones, client requirements, and progress metrics.

3. Brand Management

  • Build meaningful, professional relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their roles, motivators, and goals.

  • Ensure Simpson’s brand is represented consistently across all communications and deliverables.

  • Promote sustainable service levels with efficient, high-quality output.

  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations supporting project and client success.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Science (required).

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare communications industry.

    • 1+ year in a pharmaceutical/healthcare promotional role (preferred).

    • Oncology therapeutic area experience (preferred).

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

    • Experience with Veeva (highly preferred).

    • Familiarity with Basecamp or similar project management systems (preferred).

  • Core Skills:

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication.

    • Strong project and time management capabilities.

    • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.

    • Strategic thinker with presentation and persuasion skills.

    • Proven leadership and team collaboration abilities.

    • Self-driven with initiative and adaptability.

  • Travel: Up to 25% (as required for client and stakeholder meetings).


Additional Information

  • Work Model: Home-based position (must reside in the same country as the job location).

  • Compensation Range: $61,200.00 – $153,000.00 (annualized base pay).

    • Actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location.

    • Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may apply (health, welfare, and more).
