Position Overview
The Certified Medical Coder is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant medical coding in alignment with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements. This role supports clinical operations by maintaining high coding accuracy, contributing to proper reimbursement, and ensuring adherence to healthcare compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Perform medical coding activities in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Adhere to employment terms, organizational directives, and operational guidelines, including potential changes in work location, team assignment, shift schedules, or work arrangements as required by business needs.
Maintain strict compliance with healthcare documentation standards, coding ethics, and quality benchmarks.
Support operational flexibility by adapting to evolving workflows, policies, and healthcare industry requirements.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of patient and organizational data at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Certification (Mandatory):
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CPC-A certification from AAPC.
Education:
Graduate of a healthcare, life sciences, or allied health program preferred.
Experience Required:
0–2 years of medical coding experience (fresh CPC/CPC-A certified candidates are encouraged to apply).
Prior exposure to healthcare revenue cycle operations or clinical documentation review is an advantage.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Ability to work effectively in a structured, policy-driven environment.
