BPO Medical Records Coding Senior Representative

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced BPO Medical Records Coding Senior Representative to support clinical documentation and coding operations with accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role is suited for professionals with strong expertise in medical coding within a healthcare BPO environment, and the ability to ensure standardized documentation across medical facilities.
The selected candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical records, converting clinical data into standardized medical codes, and maintaining coding quality in alignment with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient documentation to understand diagnoses, procedures, and clinical findings.
Convert healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment details into standardized universal alphanumeric medical codes.
Maintain standardized vocabulary and ensure consistent documentation across all medical facilities.
Create uniform terminology for healthcare conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and causes of death.
Review clinical statements and assign accurate and compliant coding based on established guidelines.
Support process improvement through consistent and high-quality coding practices.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical coding within a Healthcare BPO environment (experience required and mandatory).
Strong understanding of clinical documentation and coding processes.
Proficiency in converting medical data into standardized universal coding formats.
Ability to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance in coding assignments.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
