Position Overview:
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy is seeking an academic clinician educator with an MD to provide leadership in clinical Rheumatology and education. The position offers opportunities to work collaboratively within and across divisions and departments. The role includes teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, diagnosing and managing rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders, and providing patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Research opportunities are also available depending on interest.

Essential Functions:

  • Precept fellows, residents, and medical students in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
  • Provide lectures and lead small group discussions as part of the curriculum.
  • Diagnose and manage disorders of the musculoskeletal system and autoimmune diseases.
  • Teach and train learners at various levels in the medical education process.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MD).
  • Completion of 4-year Internal Medicine residency.
  • Completion of 2-year Rheumatology fellowship.
  • Ohio Medical License.
