Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy is seeking an MD academic clinician educator for a leadership role in clinical Rheumatology and education. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative setting across divisions and departments at the medical center, with opportunities for research based on interest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Precepting and Teaching: Precept fellows, residents, and medical students in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. Lead small group discussions or lectures as part of the COM or fellowship curriculum.
  • Patient Care: Diagnose and manage rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders, primarily in outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital services.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with faculty and staff across divisions.
  • Research: Engage in research activities based on individual interests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD).
  • Completion of 4-year Internal Medicine residency.
  • Completion of 2-year Rheumatology fellowship.
  • Ohio Medical License.
