Overview:

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy, is seeking an MD academic clinician educator to join their team. This position focuses on clinical Rheumatology, education, and the opportunity for research based on interest. The role involves leadership in patient care, teaching, and training within a world-class medical center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precept fellows, residents, and medical students in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Provide lectures and lead small group discussions as part of the College of Medicine (COM) or fellowship curriculum.
  • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal disorders linked to immune system dysfunction.
  • Manage various rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.
  • Provide patient care responsibilities in outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital services.
  • Engage in the teaching and training process for learners at multiple educational levels.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD).
  • Completion of a 4-year Internal Medicine residency.
  • Completion of a 2-year Rheumatology fellowship.
  • Ohio Medical License.
