Job Overview
We are hiring an Associate – Scientific Writing to join a technology-led healthcare solutions organization focused on enabling healthcare companies to become future-ready. Key Responsibilities
Medical Review and Scientific Content Development
Review promotional and medical communication materials to ensure medical accuracy, scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, and balanced messaging.
Ensure content aligns with pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards, supported by current and credible scientific references.
Develop and update medical and scientific content for various deliverables, including promotional and non-promotional materials.
Literature Research and Content Validation
Conduct comprehensive literature searches to identify and evaluate relevant clinical and scientific references.
Track, audit, and maintain content assets as per internal and client requirements.
Identify and resolve data conflicts while ensuring consistency across deliverables.
Quality, Process, and Compliance
Deliver high-quality outputs within defined timelines and client satisfaction metrics.
Adhere to internal SOPs, quality systems, confidentiality, and information security policies.
Follow best practices related to language, grammar, medical stylization, summarization, and referencing.
Collaboration and Professional Development
Participate in client calls as required by project scope.
Engage in assigned training programs and continuous learning initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, project managers, and reviewers.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Education
MD / MDS / PhD / Post-Doctoral qualification
OR
MBBS with relevant experience in medical writing or medical review
Experience
1–2 years of prior experience in the medical review or scientific writing domain
Experience working with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare agencies, or medical communications teams
Key Skills and Competencies
Strong passion and aptitude for scientific and medical writing
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Understanding of at least one medical specialty (preferred) or a broad understanding of the medical field
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage timelines and ensure on-time delivery of assignments
