Job Title: Associate Medical Writer

Position Summary

Novo Nordisk is hiring an Associate Medical Writer to support its Global Medical Affairs unit. This role offers a chance to contribute to impactful, life-changing scientific and medical documentation on a global scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate study group discussions for development of study protocols and/or study reports.

  • Organize and coordinate clinical document review and approval processes.

  • Ensure audit-preparedness of clinical documents.

  • Conduct and summarize systematic literature searches.

  • Participate in internal and external medical/marketing events, including expert meetings, lectures, and conferences.

  • Collaborate with global medical directors to:

    • Prepare study protocols, non-interventional study reports, and investigator’s brochures.

    • Develop abstracts, congress posters, presentations, and publication proposals using standard templates.

  • Foster strong working relationships with global and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.


Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences, medical, or pharmaceutical field.

  • 2+ years of experience in medical writing with a focus on study protocols, reports, and brochures.

  • Familiarity with real-world studies and therapeutic areas such as diabetes, obesity, and MASH.

  • Strong skills in literature search, summarization, and scientific communication.

  • Proven experience in developing scientific publications and presentations.

  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical documentation standards.

  • Experience in audit-preparation and document version management.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
