Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Process Management:
    • Regularly review and update procurement processes to ensure adherence.
    • Review spending by affiliate, category, and department.
    • Release RFPs as required and support the business with vendor selection.
    • Ensure contract compliance and manage vendor relationships.
    • Define vendor KPIs and SLAs and ensure proper risk management.
  • Vendor Selection & Risk Management:
    • Conduct due diligence on vendors regarding risks and rates before selection.
    • Support the business in negotiating and onboarding vendors.
    • Support audits by providing required data.
  • Training & Process Improvement:
    • Provide regular training on policies and procedures to affiliates.
    • Maintain and share dashboards with management on a monthly basis.
    • Manage vendor optimization and strategic sourcing projects to support business needs.
    • Ensure compliance with KPIs like monthly savings, internal audits, and TAT management.
  • Technology Integration:
    • Drive the use of e-procurement tools like Ariba Catalogs and Guided Buying for purchasing goods and services.
    • Ensure that the risk assessment process is followed for vendors.
    • Promote the use of e-invoicing and assist in resolving invoicing issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain procurement documentation and contracts in a centralized system.
    • Generate regular dashboards and reports for management.

Basic Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 7+ years of experience in pharma manufacturing procurement.
    • Prior experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or procurement roles.
    • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and drafting contracts for supplies and services.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take action.
    • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to influence diverse groups internally and externally.
    • Proficient in MS Office tools; familiarity with automation tools, SAP, or Ariba is a plus.
    • Strong teamwork, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt to continual change in a multinational environment.

  • Location: Onsite at LCCI Hyderabad, with the expectation to be at the office most days of the week.
