Position Summary

The Associate I, Patient Safety & Experience (Non-MD) plays a key role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of Alcon’s medical devices. The role involves monitoring safety data, supporting vigilance activities, and maintaining compliance with international medical device regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, assess, and support medical device safety and vigilance activities in both pre- and post-marketing stages.

  • Apply knowledge of national and international regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with patient safety standards.

  • Demonstrate strong listening, communication, and decision-making skills in managing patient safety data.

  • Prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail and effective time management.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely safety reporting and regulatory submissions.

  • Utilize MS Office tools to document and maintain accurate safety and regulatory data.


Required Qualifications

  • Strong listening and communication skills.

  • Excellent decision quality and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

  • Knowledge of medical device safety, vigilance practices, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

  • Familiarity with national and international medical device regulations.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
